Rethink Comfort Heating
At IR Focus ApS we work to change the way we get comfort heating. By focusing heat on individuals, we can match personal preferences, and at the same time save a lot of energy.
Sustainable Build Forum
IR Focus was selected to participate at the Danish Sustainable Build Forum in 2019.
VARME
We want to make VARME our brand for scandinavian designed Personal Heating products.
Together with the Danish designer Anne Qvist, we have developed this hand heater as our go to market product, launched in our Kickstarter campaing February 2020.
Inside VARME
This is our hand heater with two infrared LED modules with four LED’s and lenses each. It is simple, and without person tracking, yet it adresses a need that has not yet been solved so elegant by any other product.

Hui has been testing the current version of our hand heater and explains here how it works.Password: Varme

Test results
The test results from CBE can be seen here. Note that the temperature stays within limits, even when you get very close to the hand heater. There is no risk of safety when using the heater..
Person Tracking LED
Video from 2014
This video was recorded at MAB14 Media Architecture Biennale 2014. It shows how LED spots continously are following the kids below. This is similar to what we want to do, but now with invisible infrared heating LED.
